A Fading Man

When her ex-husband reappears, now suffering from dementia and having forgotten their divorce, Hanne’s orderly life with partner Bernd is gently upended.

Between tragedy and comedy, the film speaks about memory and forgetting, love, friendship, aging, and the courage to start over.

The film premiered worldwide in the Tiger Competition at the 2026 Rotterdam International Film Festival.
